All bookings are confirmed in writing by email or post with a confirmation of booking document, it is the hirers responsibility to ensure that the travel details on this confirmation are correct and accurate and notify Cotswold Executive of any inaccuracy as soon as possible.
The hirer of the vehicle is responsible for the conduct of all passengers and will be responsible for the loss of earnings as a result of injury to the driver. We reserve the right to invoice or make a charge to the hirer for any losses, repairs, replacements or valeting costs resulting from damage or fouling to the vehicle or its fixtures caused by the hirer or its passengers.
It is important that all the passengers are ready at the agreed meeting time to enable the driver can meet his obligation for appointments with other scheduled clients, if passengers delay the driver more than 15 minutes we reserve the right to invoice or charge for waiting time.
All transfers must be paid for on or before the first leg of the journey this includes any return booking, credit card payments may incur a small surcharge typically 3% we no longer accept cheques.
Whilst every effort will be made to arrive at the customer’s destination or pickup point punctually Cotswold Executive shall not be liable for late arrival or cancellation due to circumstances beyond its control. This could include but not be limited to traffic congestion, severe weather conditions, vehicle breakdown or driver illness. In the event of unforeseen delays or cancellation Cotswold Executive will endeavour to contact the hirer by telephone. It shall be the hirer’s responsibility to allow adequate time to reach their destination. We strongly recommend that travel insurance be taken out where appropriate to cover all eventualities.
Cotswold Executive cannot be held responsible for inconsistency in travel information supplied from various sources i.e. Airports, Railways etc. the driver will arrive 30 minutes after published arrival time, for airport pickups.
Meeting your driver at the airport, our driver will wait a maximum of 50 minutes in the hall for you, 80 minutes after your arrival if you are held up for any reason you need to contact us as after this time we will assume that you were unable to make the flight/ship and class the booking as a no show, you will be charged in full plus any extra parking fees uncured by the driver.
Costwold Executive Travel Is owned and operated by Airport Plus Cheltenham, all private hire bookings will be booked though this operator.
The driver may refuse to transport passengers and luggage if the vehicle becomes overloaded. The booking may be terminated if the hirer or any passengers cause excessive delays, it is the hirers responsibility to book the correct size vehicle for the number of passengers and their requirements all suitcases must be in the boot compartment of the vehicle.
All passengers are required by law to wear seat belts provided in the vehicle, refusal will result in the termination of hire and full payment will be charged.
Cotswold Executive does not provide nor will assist with the fitting of any child seats, you are welcome to bring your own child seats and Cotswold Executive will look after them for you and bring them for your return trip.
Food and drink will only be consumed at the driver’s discretion.
Smoking is not permitted by law in the vehicle.
Cancelation of any reservation must be made by email or telephone giving Cotswold Executive a minimum of 24 hours notice from date and time of the booking, cancelations made with more 24 hours will not incur any charge. For wedding and executive car bookings the deposits are non-refundable and paid balances are non-refundable within 14 days of the booking date.
Cancelations made within 24 hours of the booking date and time will incur a cancelation charge of 50% for that leg of the journey.
Cancelations made within 12 hours of the booking date and time will incur a cancelation charge of 100% for that leg of the journey.
